Sept 20/12
Another foggy morning, and definitely cooler. By the time we packed up and hit the road, the sun was starting to burn through the clouds. Very scenic drive to Sequim. Parked ourselves at the Rainbow's End RV Park just west of Sequim. Shortly after setting up, an elderly lady also staying here came around looking for her cat. The cat had managed to slip out of its harness and bolted. She was very upset, so we helped her out by wandering around the campground trying to find the poor thing. No luck, but it may have climbed up a tree somewhere (lots of them in this park) or is hiding out under someone's RV and hopefully will make it's way back to their unit. After a late lunch we walked down the highway about 1/2K to a produce market and stocked up on a few groceries. Sat and visited for the rest of the afternoon and then decided to head into town and find a burger joint for dinner. We ended up at the Hwy 101 Diner, and it was awesome - 50's style place with chrome dinette sets and lots of old movie and movie star posters. Great burgers!! Stop at Walmart for some more wine and meats, and then a drink at Smith's before bed. Another relaxing day.
