We headed off to Penticton to the Wibit Water Play Park. After seeing all the kids climbing all over it, Gramma and Grampa decided that the best place for them was on the lawn chairs on the beach, left in charge of taking pictures, holding down the sand and saving beach real estate for the rest of the crew. After playing for about an hour, the swimmers came back to shore and we grabbed some lunch. A bit more play time in the water, or back out to Wibit, henna tattoos for some, then we packed up to start the trek back to Osoyoos.
We had thought about possibly doing a canal float, but by the time we finished at the beach, it was later than anticipated, people were tired and we figured it might be a bit too boring for the two boys. The plan was to stop in Oliver for pizza at a place called Pizza 97, which had been highly recommended by a friend of Graham's. Not much to look at, but we were not disappointed. Best pizza crust I've ever had, and the toppings were generous and flavourful. Huge ice cream cones back at the campground, as a final treat for the day.
