It's a bit spooky here in the mornings. We go to bed and there are lots of trailers surrounding us. By 9 or 10 the next morning, they have pretty much disappeared. I don't know if it's something we said, or if one of us let loose with a nasty fart. ATTENTION CERTAIN FAMILY MEMBERS - no need to bring up an oft-remembered tent trailer incident from the mid-70's. It's been almost 40 years. GET OVER IT! :)
It was a bit cloudy this morning, and forecast to be partly cloudy all day, so we decided it might be a good day for a round of golf and booked a tee time for after lunch. The expected clouds didn't materialize, so we did manage to get in 13 holes before the heat, and some starting-to-hurt body parts led to the decision to cut the game short (had nothing to do with the number of strokes we had already executed). While driving back from the golf course, we suddenly found the truck filled with the beautiful fragrance of orange blossoms. We were driving along a road that was flanked on both sides by orange groves. It lasted for quite a while. We are also finding the scent of the trees in the RV park getting stronger each day.
Happy hour beside the trailer, until the clouds moved in and it got windy and cool. It even rained for about 5 minutes (more like a few drips). Was sitting at the inside table just before dinner and caught some movement out of the corner of my eye. When I looked out the window, there were a couple of birds "dancing" with each other. I wish I'd had the presence of mind to grab my little camera sooner and catch a video. They were so cute. One would take a couple of hops sideways, and the other would follow suit. They'd look at each other for a few seconds, then one would hop sideways again, and the other would follow. This went on for several sets of hops. Just as I grabbed the camera, they flew off. I'm not positive, but I think they were some type of thrasher.

Quiet evening in.
