I could hardly sleep last night. So excited about doing laundry today. And it did not disappoint - as stimulating as ever. Even more so with the coin operated machines - makes you feel like you're playing one of the old slot machines, as you pump your quarters in. And your odds are much better - a clean load of clothing from each washer, and dry clothes from each dryer. Always a winner.
Cloudy skies this morning, that eventually turned to rain off and on. At one point in the early afternoon we had quite a downpour with gusting wind. Had to run around closing windows and ceiling vents and mopping up rain off the floor.
Spent a good chunk of today playing around with Google Maps and learning how to manipulate and display the data from the tracking app on my phone. So, these maps are for my slightly younger sister, Cindy, who has a self-professed obsession with maps.
I've split the relocating part of our trip into the days heading south, and then the days heading north, to avoid backtracking over routes as much as possible. These are simply the routes travelling from one RV Park to the next; not any of the day trips to various places. The only exception is the last little bit in red at the bottom of the first map. It was in fact a day trip from Kartchner Caverns, but Bisbee was the southern most point in our travels, so wanted to include it. Each colour change is another day's travel. All the "buttons" on the maps (zoom in, sattelite, etc.) work if you want a different view.

Of course, this second map is a work in progress, and will be updated as we make our way up the I5, or whatever route the pilot decides to take.

Lots of rigs in the park tonight - most people, like us, heading home to Washington or BC. Planning on getting an early start in the morning.
Until tomorrow, dear followers.
