The lightning storm that was predicted for Wednesday night never materialized, but there was more wind and we had rain overnight. We're back to hot and sunny, although not as hot as earlier in the week.
Over the last couple of days, we have begun to slowly start dismantling and packing things away in preparation for departure in a couple of days. Too bad we never got the new rig with all the extra storage. We've got a few extra things we didn't bring with us, and we were packed pretty tight on the trip down. But we'll get it all in somehow.
We've been sharing our internet connection with Tim & Marieanne next door, so have passed the modem over to them to use until they leave. We can still access via the built in router. They will return it to the cable store for us.
Today (Friday) I did a bit of last minute shopping for gifts to bring back to the grandkids. Not always an easy task, trying to figure out what they may like. Thanks to modern technology, it is so easy to contact their mothers on the spot, in the store, to find out. Only problem, in this instance, was that once I got into the back of the store where the kids' stuff was, I lost my cell signal. So I had to keep walking out to the front of the store to message, then loiter about waiting for a response.
And I found a choice of two lovely suits for Graham for his nuptials in 2018. They're only $99 each for three pieces (jacket, pants and tie), so at that price he could have both (one for the ceremony and one for the reception). Why shouldn't the groom dazzle as much as the bride? I don't know why he won't send me his measurements.

Until next time, dear readers.
