Wednesday, March 21st was probably our last of this season's pizza nights courtesy of Mike. I made up and presented him with his degree in Pieology and a People's Choice award. Once again great food, great company and great weather. And that's the spiffy "beret" Robin gave him for his "French" car.
Thursday our view to the east changed with the departure of Bev and her motorhome. There's now this big open space behind us, and we lost a big chunk of shading from the morning sun for the gazebo (and in particular, the ice machine). This led to rearrangement of tables and small appliances, which led to a good cleaning of the table tops and appliance exteriors. You get used to seeing them sitting there, and don't notice how dirty and dusty they're getting until you have to move them. Another good workout at line dancing, finishing up at break neck speed (at least it seemed that way for those of a certain vintage) to an ACDC song. Going to miss these classes when we leave.
Friday, March 23rd we made another trip to the Mesa Market, and then visited Pizza Pie Cafe for lunch, as it was on our way home. Actually left the AC running in the rig when we left, as it was already feeling pretty warm at 10am. Both of us conked out for an hour or so in the afternoon, then a visit to the patio for happy hour and back to the rig to sit in the shade and read. Beautiful evening sky. We love watching the vapour trails as the sun sets, and that time of night there are scads. After the sun went down, Mike & Lynn arrived with their chairs and wine and we visited until about 9.

Saturday was a quiet day at our site. Lots of reading and lazing about. There are a fair number of grandchildren and grown children in the park right now, with spring break well underway. The little ones especially love the pool and every day some go by, clutching their pool noodles and dragging their towels. Robin's back is slowly getting better. He will see the massage therapist again on Monday. Need to get him back in reasonable shape before he has to start spending his days behind the wheel of the motorhome again.
Sunday, March 25th, HAPPY 87TH BIRTHDAY to my wonderful mom. Wishing you many, many more. Another quiet day - things are definitely gearing down around here. Wifi connection at our site has been absolute garbage this past week, and I have a cap on hotspotting, so I dragged my devices over to the computer lab and got all the apps updated and synced. Picked up Ken & Faye and headed out for dinner at Famous Dave's BBQ. We then all traipsed over to Bass Pro to have a look around before delivering the Grant's back to their rig, having a nightcap with them and then heading home ourselves. Another sunny and warm (but not too warm) day.
Until next time, dear readers.
