Forgot to post these pictures yesterday. There was a booth at yesterday’s market selling goat’s milk lotions and creams, and they had these three pygmy goats on site as a drawing card. So adorable, and so oblivious to all the people milling about.
Today we moved, but it won’t show up on the map since we only moved two rows over. Laundry extravaganza while Robin was relocating, then I drove back into Green Valley to pick up my sandals from the repair shop. Then we sat outside and read until the sun started to set. For dinner, we decided to head over to the Cow Palace, across from the Longhorn Grill. Very good food. Robin had an andoulie and provolone burger (1/2 lb of burger, an andoulie sausage and provolone cheese). I’m waiting for him to break out in meat sweats.
Not sure why they continue to light up the Longhorn at night, since it closed down in the summer of 2012. But it is a landmark, and has seen various different businesses prior to the restaurant (which was there for 20 years) and eventually may be occupied again. Those horns reach 30 feet high.
So tomorrow we’re on the road again, heading for our long term stay in Tucson. Had tried to get in there three nights early, but they are booked solid and she could only get us in one night ahead of schedule. Looking forward to meeting up with John and Donna on Saturday, and seeing what kind of trouble the four of us can get into over the next month.
Until next time dear followers, if you look like your passport picture, you probably need the trip.
